Born in Juneau, Alaska

Music Education:

 Studied music theory, composition, arranging, and guitar technique at Guitar Institute and The Dick Grove Music Workshops in Los Angeles in the late 1970’s.

Attended several college level music classes in Alaska and Idaho.

Attended numerous workshops, seminars and private lessons over the years.

 

Music Career Highlights:

 Spent five years doing music on the road in the western US and Canada in the late 70’s and early 80’s.

Played in bands performing Country, Rock and Jazz music styles on weekends while working for the Department of Energy in Idaho from 1982 – 2004.

 

Moved to Tulsa in 2007 and have been playing in the Jazz scene here ever since.
